• She was a former Police Officer and she currently works as an Emergency Care Worker with the Canadian Red Cross and as a Health Care Aide with Prairie Mountain Health
• She is a student assistant
• Anita is a Canadian citizen who immigrated from Nigeria to Canada over 4 years ago
• Empathy serves as one of her driving forces towards growth and continuous learning
• Her quest for learning is commendable as she contributes to class discussions and seeks clarification when needed
• She volunteers at several organizations in Brandon University. She volunteered with Habitat for Humanity where she helped to build affordable homes for families of all ages and gender
• She cites raising her kid as one her great accomplishments
• Anita hopes to be a future risk assessment officer, creating meaningful strategies for disaster risk reduction, and emergency management
