March 8th is International Women’s Day, a global day celebrating the economic, political and social achievements of women past, present and future.

Recipients of the International Women’s Day Award are members of Brandon University who keep the University’s mission moving forward. The BU mission is summarized to be the education of students who can make a difference as citizens and leaders, passionate about knowledge, and who are part and/or embrace cultural diversity.
