Automatic-Consideration Entrance Scholarships
In addition to the Board of Governor’s (BoG) Entrance Scholarships, high school students with superior academic standing (equivalent to Tier I BoG eligibility) are automatically considered for a number of specific entrance scholarships. No separate scholarships application is required, but you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Apply for admission to Brandon University by March 1;
- Provide your transcript to Brandon University by March 1;
- Attend Brandon University directly from an accredited Canadian high school;
- A one-year “gap year” is permitted as long as you do not pursue any post-secondary education during that time
- Have a Grade 11 or Grade 12 scholarship average of at least 85%.

Applied-For Entrance Scholarships
Brandon University offers a limited number of entrance scholarships for which an application is required. In order to be considered for one of these awards, you must meet all of the following criteria:
- Apply for admission to Brandon University by March 1;
- Provide your transcript to Brandon University by March 1;
- Attend Brandon University directly from an accredit Canadian high school;
- A one-year “gap year” is permitted as long as you do not pursue any post-secondary education during that time
- Have a Grade 11 or Grade 12 scholarship average of at least 85%;
- Submit an online application and any required supporting documents in advance of the published deadline..
