For most of its history, research on women in agriculture has been subsumed under studies of the family farm, or hidden in monographs dealing with life in the rural community. CRRF and ARRG are pleased to publish this collection of papers on women in Agriculture. Out objective is two-fold: to facilitate access to this important knowledge based and to encourage other to recognize and incorporate women’s work and the issues of importance to them into the mainstream research on Canadian agriculture.
