This report represents an attempt to develop knowledge and an understanding of ethnocultural organizations in rural Manitoba, shifting the focus away from Winnipeg. The development and establishment of ethnocultural organizations in a community is a vital aspect of immigrant settlement, integration, and retention. This research project has focused on Brandon, Manitoba’s second largest city, which is a growing community, encountering a recent influx of newcomers and changing demographics.
