Twenty-two bread and breakfast operations, 18 Vacation farms and 10 day-tour operations are surveyed from a total farm vacations population in Manitoba of approximately 80 facilities. Data on characteristics of farm sites, visitor activities, markets, advertising techniques, government programs, and barriers and opportunities to business were collected by personal interviews or mailed out questionnaires.
