Emmanuel Owusu Ansah is a dedicated Researcher and Planning Assistant with a passion for rural development.

Emmanuel holds a Bachelor's degree in Sociology and Political Studies and is set to graduate from Brandon University with a Master's degree in Rural Development.

Currently, Emmanuel works as a Planning Assistant at the Community Planning and Development Branch of the Manitoba Government, where he helps to develop and implement policies that promote sustainable and equitable development in rural communities.

He is also a researcher at the Rural Development Institute of Brandon University, where he is conducting a high-level international scan of a peer reviewed literature on the changing nature of Rural due to Covid-19. This will help in examining the changes in rural and to inform policy decisions at the local and national level.

Emmanuel is known for his analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary teams. He is passionate about creating positive change in rural communities and is committed to making a difference through his work.
