2024 BCF Poster

Please join us for the 14th annual Brandon University Clarinet Festival on March 9th and 10th, 2024. We are featuring all Canadian artists this year including renowned pedagogue, founder of Clarinet Mentors, and Backun Artist: Michelle Anderson. We also welcome back to BU one of Canada’s most celebrated musicians and Selmer artist, James Campbell. Guest artists also include Futaba Niekawa (piano) and BU faculty Kerry DuWors (violin) and Madeline Hildebrand (piano).

The festival welcomes back BU alumni: Regina Symphony clarinetist Vanessa Klassen, St. John’s Music repair expert Christian Ilagan and guest conductor Justine Burke who will lead the festival clarinet choir. The BU Clarinet Choir and festival host Cathy Wood will also be performing.

Great PD opportunity for musicians of all ages! The festival events include:

• Workshops, and masterclasses
• Festival Clarinet Choir for all participants (all levels)
• Concerts featuring clarinet choirs and guest artists
• Selmer, Backun Musical Services, Buffet, Vandoren, Legère, and St. John’s Music
• Free repairs and prize draws!

All events take place at Brandon University School of Music.
