The Brandon University Percussion Ensemble is a performing ensemble that is made up of Percussion Majors, Non-Percussion Majors and Brandon University Alumni. Performing on campus as well as at a variety of community events including the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra’s New Music Festival, this ensemble performs an eclectic mix of music. Percussion Ensemble covers an array of styles from marching, to jazz, to pop, to world percussion and even a little John Cage who is a style all to himself.  Performing transcriptions and arrangements of a variety of music as well as premiering new works for percussion ensemble, this group is meant to provide students with an opportunity to develop their skills in all areas of percussion. And we have a lot of fun in the process!
