This site is a Manitoba based information portal with all you need to know about what to do when encountering a grizzly bear, as well as, a place to report observations and sightings. Our goal is to help keep Manitoban’s and our grizzly bear population safe, and to teach people how to coexist.
Safety is the number one priority, and in order to achieve that we need to learn more about the re-emergence and demographics of the growing grizzly bear population within Manitoba. The iNaturalist page, ‘Grizzly Bears in Manitoba’, creates an easily accessible and user friendly portal for people to input information and images of any grizzly bear encounters or observations they may have had in Manitoba.
