Hours of work:
- April to May: Approximately 20-35 hours per week
- June to August: Approximately 40 hours per week

Duties:
- Assist with camp tasks including registrations, attendance tracking and other support work.
- Supervise and schedule instructors with the support of the Mini University Program Coordinator.
- Act as a substitute instructor if another instructor is absent or unavailable.
- Help to address camper behaviour issues.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment.
- Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail, excellent problem solving skills and self-motivated.
- Ability to relate to children and youth, including those from diverse populations.
- Preference given to current Brandon University Student; with enrollment in a graduate program or holding a graduate degree. Preference given to those in the Bachelor of Education degree program.
- Specialized experience is required. Previous teaching and/or leadership experience is considered a strong asset.
- Work with minimal to no direct supervision. Working hours may include day, evening or weekend shifts, as needed.
- Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check. First Aid/CPR (adult/child) certification required.
