Hours of work:

  • April to May: Approximately 20-35 hours per week
  • June to August: Approximately 35-40 hours per week

Duties:

  • Process and enter data, including programming registrations, take payments, prepare deposits and answer parent inquiries.
  • Assist with attendance, supplies, social media/promotion, administration, and other paperwork.
  • Some light cleaning and physical duties.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
  • Ability to work courteously with the public.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable.
  • Preference given to post-secondary students: either current Brandon University student at second year undergraduate level/standing or student with comparable standing from another post-secondary institution.
  • Specific courses related to the given department/faculty in which the job is needed. Strong academic standing.
  • Some advanced training and/or specialized experience is an asset.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and desktop publishing software.
  • Previous cash handling experience is an asset.
  • Work with minimal supervision.
  • Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check. First Aid/CPR (adult/child) certification required.
