Hours of work: Part-time and full-time (no more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week)
Start date: Various dates: as soon as May 12, 2025, as late as June 9, 2025 (or later, based on employee availability)
Number of Positions available: Up to 21 positions
Length of appointment: Until August 27, 2025

Duties:
- Assist with preparation and delivery of lesson plans for a variety of courses.
- Supervise students of different age groups during classes as well as to/from lunch.
- Help cover other classes if instructor is absent.
- Light cleaning in the workspace or classrooms.
- Assist other staff during busy times.
- May be asked to take photos as authorized and requested by the Program Coordinator or Mini University Team Leader.
- Other relevant duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Experience:
- Ability to work independently and/or with others effectively.
- Ability to work courteously with the public.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
- Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable.
- Previous experience working with kids.
- Interest or knowledge of a variety of subject areas.
- Familiar with Microsoft Office.
- Preference given to post-secondary students: either current Brandon University student at second year undergraduate level/standing or student with comparable standing from another post-secondary institution.
- Specific courses related to the given department/faculty in which the job is needed.
- Strong academic standing.
- Some advanced training and/or specialized experience is an asset. Previous instruction experience is an asset. Previous experience working with children and youth is a strong asset.
- Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check. First Aid/CPR (adult/child) certification required.
