Duties:

  • Assist Instructors by helping with lesson plan delivery for different age groups.
  • Assist with supervision of campers to/from classes and during lunch.
  • Some light cleaning and moving of equipment or supplies.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Ability to take direction, follow instructions and work under close supervision.
  • Ability to work with others effectively.
  • Ability to relate to and work with children in a positive manner.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
  • Detail-oriented, punctual and reliable.
  • Preference given to post-secondary students: either current Brandon University student at first-year undergraduate is acceptable or student with comparable standing from another post-secondary institution. Will consider high school students.
  • Previous experience working with youth is an asset.
  • Previous experience supporting a teacher/instructor in a classroom is an asset.
  • Previous experience with Mini University program is considered an asset.
  • Must provide a Criminal Record Check and Child Abuse Registry Check. First Aid/CPR (adult/child) certification required.
