Duties:

* Recruit research participants.
* Conduct high -level and complex academic research and literature searches.
* Collect and manage research data, conduct advanced analysis of research results and document      findings.
* Interpret research findings and perform editorial tasks.
* Present project status and findings to stakeholders.
* Organize and host seminars, focus groups, community meetings, special events, and other        forms of public engagement.
* Support funding procurement and staffing supervision.
* Identify and assist in securing funding opportunities; prepare and submit documentation       required by funding agencies.

Qualifications/Experience: 

The ideal candidate will:
• have a Master’s Degree in a related field, or be enrolled in a Masters Degree.
• have completed research methodology courses at a graduate level.
• have extensive research skills and sound judgment; working in community-based research is an  asset.
• have the ability to communicate clearly and effectively; strong written communication skills are  especially important.
• possess strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving skills, and be self-motivated.
• have the ability to work independently and with others effectively.
• have experience with project management and supervising staff.
• have the ability to uphold high standards of confidentiality and research integrity.
