2024/25, Fall Term, Course-Based Contract Opportunity – Faculty of Education

The Faculty of Education is seeking a qualified Contract Academic Staff (CAS) (formerly known as Sessional Instructor) to teach the following course during the 2024-25 Regular Session Fall Term in our undergraduate program. Fall Term:

04.256 Adolescent Development and the Learning Process (MY-SY), A02

This course will examine current theories of physical, cognitive, social/cultural, moral/spiritual, and aesthetic development of adolescents, in addition to theories of learning, and will focus on the application of those theories to classroom practice.

Qualifications:

Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree. Applicants may seek to establish an experiential/traditional equivalency to the Master’s degree and are invited to contact the Dean of Educaton on how to establish equivalent academic or professional credentials; please direct such inquiries to the email address below. Preference will be given to candidates who hold a Ph.D. in a related field. Applicants must qualify for a Manitoba teaching certificate, have a good understanding of the Manitoba school curriculum, and have successful teaching experience and relevant expertise in the specified area.

Salary: $6,901 per 3 credit hour course
