Duties and Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for configuring and maintaining academic information accurately in the Student Information System (SIS), ensuring student record accuracy, and producing annual academic calendars.
Responsible for facilitating special programs (IUS, Youth-in-Care, student-athletes, etc.), assisting with manual course registration and degree audit, responsible for general office administrative support (budget, inventory, purchasing, equipment maintenance, etc.), other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Experience:
Must have a minimum Grade 12 plus a one (1) year office administration certificate and three (3) years’ directly related experience or a comparable combination of education and experience is required. A high level of proficiency with Microsoft products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams) is required along with significant experience using databases. Experience with Adobe Acrobat, web editing software, and Zoom videoconferencing is an asset. The ideal candidate must have demonstrated excellence with technological tools, exceptional personal skills, and a passion for providing warm, professional service to all stakeholders. Must be a highly motivated, resourceful individual with strong prioritization skills and impeccable attention to detail who is a proven team player and works well with minimal supervision.
*NOTE*
This is a full-time term position until March 31, 2025, or such earlier date that the regular employee returns to work. Candidates being considered will be required to successfully pass a technical skills test.
