Duties:

  • Encourage students in their writing endeavors
  • Recognize and promote the principles of good university-level writing
  • Help students to understand the basic structures of essays and other written assignments
  • Assist students in using citation styles such as APA, MLA, Chicago, and others
  • and other relevant duties as assigned

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven essay-writing skills
  • Available to attend training sessions
  • Comfortable working one-on-one or with a small group of students
  • Minimum 2.5 GPA with a minimum of 30 credit hours of coursework completed
