The goal of BUISC is to provide services, advocate and support Indigenous and non-Indigenous students on campus. Our home base is the Indigenous Peoples Centre, here we gather, visit, study, encourage and eat together. One of the most important things we focus on is being together. Traditionally Indigenosu people lived in very close knit communities. Every person is valued, has a role, is looked after and contributes. From Potlucks to getting together to learn how to make bannock, we try to encourage this belonging in the IPC.
