National Student Exchange
The National Student Exchange (NSE) provides students with affordable and practical opportunities to experience new and diverse settings in which to study and live. Students can study for a semester or a year paying either Brandon University tuition or host tuition at a choice of nearly 200 colleges and universities throughout the United States and Canada, including Puerto Rico, Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Describe how your proposed exchange will contribute to your academic and personal development as well as why you have selected the particular colleges and/or universities as exchange sites. This information is sent to your Academic Advisor or Department Chair for approval.

This application and selection procedure is designed to ensure that both NSE and Brandon University standards are met. You will be asked to provide things like a current transcript, letters of recommendation, goal statements for your exchange, and basic biographic data.

The Office of International Activities will process your application and upon approval, will reach out to set up an appointment for you to meet with the Director of International Activities.
