Biography
Wendy has been a dedicated Registered Nurse since 1985. This lengthy nursing background has provided diverse experiences in a variety of settings that include:
– Education
– Outpost nursing in an extended role, within many Manitoba Indigenous communities.
– Medical and Surgical nursing,
– Emergency nursing
– Neurosurgery/Neurology
– Northern Manitoba Medivac nursing
– Bed Utilization and Patient Flow
– Palliative care
– Geriatrics
– Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner
– Nurse Investigator
– Case Coordinator
As a dedicated advocate for the delivery of excellent nursing care, Wendy makes it a priority to help instill essential values in nursing students. Equipping students with the guiding principles needed to provide safe, competent patient care.
