Prior Learning Assessment & Recognition (PLAR) Inquiry
Brandon University’s PLAR program allows students who have gained university-level knowledge and skills through personal endeavor, work experience, or completion of non-accredited credentials offered, for example, by professional associations, organizations or government agencies, to apply for academic credit. PLAR credit will be recognized if equivalence of knowledge and skills can be demonstrated. A range of assessment techniques may be used, including demonstrations, challenge exams, portfolio-assisted assessments, as well as an evaluation of a non-accredited credential.
Your Inquiry and attachments will be submitted to the PLAR Coordinator, who will contact you by email to discuss your prior learning.
