Summer Sessions for Dedicated Piano Students

Piano Kick Start is an exciting initiative of the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music designed to give piano students a boost of confidence and inspiration. The summer workshop offers young pianists the chance to work collaboratively, make new friends, and learn from one another in a positive social setting. Due to high demand and limited space, admission to the program is by invitation only.

Daily instruction (9:30-3:00 pm) includes workshops in small and large groups, ensemble playing, mindfulness classes, private lessons and practice time. Senior students can elect to receive further instruction in piano pedagogy and would have the opportunity to coach younger students in positive, supervised settings. The program ends with a Gala Concert on August 29 at 7:00 pm in the Lorne Watson Recital Hall.

Our outstanding teaching faculty includes Conservatory instructors Dianna Neufeld, Lara Mason, Everett Hopfner and Theresa Thordarson, with additional guest instructors to be announced.

To secure your place in Piano Kick Start, please complete the registration form below by May 19. There is an early-bird discount for students who register and pay by May 31.

• Program Fee until May 31: $275 for the first registration, then $200 for each additional student from the same family
• Program Fee after May 31: $325 for the first registration, then $275 for each additional student from the same family

After registering, watch your email inbox for a message confirming your registration and indicating payment instructions. Please do not send payment until your registration is confirmed by the Conservatory.
