Conservatory Special Awards
Special Awards are available for deserving Conservatory students showing financial need and recommended by their teachers. No audition is required. Completed application forms are due May 1 of each year, for funding to be applied towards studies during the fall of that calendar year. A list of awards is available at brandonu.ca/scholarships
- All students applying for consideration for special awards must be recommended by their instructors.
- Full disbursement of special awards funds is contingent upon recipients taking a complete year of study. What constitutes a full year of study is to be determined by the teacher and approved by the Conservatory Director.
- Special awards may only be applied towards the following year’s lessons or classes as outlined by the award’s terms of reference.
- The Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory of Music and the Scholarship Committee of the School of Music establishes criteria, rules and regulations which may be subject to change. Any interpretation of this policy will be at the sole discretion of the Eckhardt-Gramatté Conservatory and the Scholarship Committee of the School of Music.
