Returning to the Co-op Program

Welcome back! As a returning Co-op student, you’ll continue to build valuable career experience and deepen your professional development. Here’s what you need to know for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Program Requirements

To stay on track, please complete the following:

Moodle Modules: Six asynchronous modules to enhance job search skills (begins in January).
Mentorship Events: Attend at least two of three key events scheduled for Winter 2025.
Meetings with the Co-op Coordinator: Schedule two check-in meetings to discuss your progress and goals.

Co-op Kick-off Celebration: January 9, 2025
Co-op Send-off Celebration: April 3, 2025

- Secure a Job that Qualifies as a Co-op Job
- Once a co-op job is secured and approved, I must register in the 99:251 or the 99:351 Co-op Work Term Course
As you are aware, the Co-op office will support you every step of the way to help you secure a job for your work term, yet, it cannot guarantee you one*
I understand that being a Co-op student does not guarantee me a co-op job for my summer work term.
OPTIONAL: BU Co-op likes to profile current Co-op Students on the Instagram Page – if you'd like to be highligted please submit a head and shoulder's photo of yourself.
