Co-op Graduates Hiring Incentive (COG-HI)
- The Co-op Graduates Hiring Incentive (COG-HI) is designed to connect graduates of registered co-operative education programs to full-time employment related to their field of study.
- Amount: For tax years ending after 2015, employers who hire a student as part of a registered co-operative education program can claim 15% of wages and salaries, up to a lifetime maximum of $5,000 per student.

Co-op Students Hiring Incentive (COS-HI)
- The Paid Work Experience Tax Credits are a group of programs that help employers create work experience opportunities for students in Manitoba.
- Amount: The Co-op Students Hiring Incentive (COS-HI) is specifically an employer benefit that provides: a 15% salary tax credit, up to a maximum of $5,000 per undergraduate student.

First Nations and Inuit Student Summer Work Experience Program
Manitoba Research and Development Tax Credit
- This program targets scientific research and experimental development (as defined for federal purposes) carried on in Manitoba.
- Amount: Corporations may earn a tax credit which can be applied against Manitoba corporate income tax payable in the year earned, with unused credits available for a 20-year carry-forward (previously 10 years) and a three-year carry-back.
This income tax credit is administered by the Canada Revenue Agency on behalf of Manitoba. The tax credit rate is 20% for eligible expenditures made before April 12, 2017 and 15% for eligible expenditures made after April 11, 2017.

Science Horizons Youth Internship Program
- Science Horizons supports green jobs for youth by providing wage subsidies to eligible employers to hire interns in environmental and clean technology sectors. Interns must be recent college or university graduates eligible to work in science, technology, engineering or math (STEM).

Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages
- Canadian Heritage’s Young Canada Works in Both Official Languages is a summer job program. Eligible employers may benefit from wage subsidies and access to a pool of talented youth with innovative ideas and competitive skills.
- Positions last from six to 16 weeks and students must work 30 to 40 hours per week. Students with a disability are eligible for part-time work.

Young Canada Works in Heritage Organizations
- This summer job program lasts between six and 16 weeks, and offers students job opportunities with organizations in Canada that have a heritage mandate. Students might organize cultural or recreational projects in a heritage organization, for example, or learn new skills in preserving and promoting our cultural heritage.
