Professional Development Series
The Co-op Program offers you a unique opportunity to gain valuable work experience while honing your professional skills.
The Professional Development (PD) Series is a non-credit program comprised of modules, meetings, and events specifically designed to support your success.
Topics Covered in the PD Series:
- Job search techniques & strategies
- Cover letter & résumé writing
- Interview Preparation
- Networking
- Professionalism & business etiquette
- Personal awareness
- Developing a learning mindset
As part of the program, you are required to:
- Complete all course modules on Moodle.
- Attend at least four 1:1 meetings with the Co-op Coordinator.
- Participate in at least two of the three mentorship events:
- Mentorship Event Part I: Thursday, February 3, 2025
- Mentorship Event Part II: Thursday, February 20, 2025
- This is part of the larger ConnectED: Bridging Students & Industry Luncheon and Event
- Mentorship Event Part III: Thursday, March 3, 2025
More information about the modules, meetings and events will be provided to students admitted to the BU Co-op Program.
Note: Active participation in all modules, along with attending the required number of meetings and events, is essential for successful engagement in the Co-op Program.
