SENIOR ACCOUNTING MANAGER

This role involves managing a client portfolio, overseeing and providing financial guidance, and ensuring timely planning and compliance. WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Review corporate tax filings, manage client relationships, prepare tax returns, provide tax planning advice, and stay updated on accounting standards.
- Prepare and review personal tax returns, provide tax planning advice, stay updated on tax law changes, and assist with issues and inquiries.
- Conduct thorough reviews of working paper files to verify calculations and documentation.
- Support and monitor the performance of direct reports, providing guidance, feedback, and coaching as needed.
- Active participation in or lead other projects as assigned.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Must have CPA designation.
- 5+ years of accounting experience, including a minimum of 3 years in public practice.
- Licensed in review engagements highly preferred.
- Proficient in tax accounting practices and CRA regulations
- Experience in managing and supporting junior staff
- Proficient in various accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written skills for interacting with clients and staff.
