Description

We are hiring for positions for the fall: September 2024 to January 2025.

Application deadline: August 18th, 2024 (applications after the deadline will be added to a waitlist)

This is a flexible volunteering program where you will be able to set your own hours. You are only required to work 3 hours per week and can block off your schedule once you receive that many bookings. We are looking for tutors to teach children coding remotely, using our custom-made coding curriculum. All lesson plans and full training will be provided; no previous experience is required.

What you will gain as a volunteer:

  • leadership/teaching experience
  • network of peers
  • academic/industry mentorship

Who can apply:

  • must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution within Canada OR
  • grade 12 in a Canadian high school
  • must be comfortable working with children
