GENERAL MANAGER - PROJES FOODS & STORE

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced General Manager for grocery store. The General Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the store's operations, ensuring a high standard of customer service, efficient management of inventory, and driving the store's profitability. This role requires a blend of leadership, operational expertise, and cultural understanding to cater to our diverse clientele while maintaining a vibrant and welcoming store environment. Location is in Brandon and hours of work Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently.
    • Supervise store staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
    • Manage inventory control to ensure the store is well-stocked.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, & safe store that results in an enjoyable customer experience.
    • Develop and manage store budgets, analyze sales data to identify trends / inventory needs.
    • Build & maintain strong relationships with local businesses, community members, & suppliers.
    • Develop and execute local marketing strategies to increase foot traffic and sales.
    • Collaborate with suppliers for promotional materials, discounts, and special offers.

    WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
    • At least 3 years of experience in retail or grocery store management, with leadership skills.
    • Strong understanding of grocery/retail operations, including inventory management, purchasing, and pricing.
    • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and develop a diverse team.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management and sales analysis.
    • Knowledge of POS systems, inventory management software, and general retail technology.
    • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
