Position: Physical Education Teacher
FTE: 0.50 FTE (afternoons only)
School: Gladstone Elementary School
Start Date: March 1, 2025
End Date: June 27, 2025

Candidates for this teaching position will be selected for interviews based on the following:

• A valid Manitoba Teacher Certificate
• Physical Education degree and or Experience
• A sound knowledge of provincial Early Years and/or Middle Years curricula
• Previous teaching experience is considered an asset.

• Ability to provide a balanced Physical Education program across K-8 grade levels
• Excellent organizational and multi-age classroom management skills
• Knowledge in the use of technology in the classroom
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with students with unique needs
• Team player committed to the certainty that all students can learn
• Self-Motivated
• Willingness to become involved in the local community
• Experience working in a multi-age classroom is considered an asset
• Willingness and ability to organize and facilitate intramurals and extracurricular activities
