Lindsay holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) from Brandon University and an Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Athabasca University.  Lindsay was designated as a Chartered Accountant (CA) in 2006 and received her Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation in 2015.

Lindsay teaches in the areas of financial accounting and audit and assurance.  Prior to her academic career, she spent ten years in public practice as an audit and assurance specialist.

Her research interests include equity and inclusion and women in accounting academia.
