Happy birthday, BU! We want everyone on campus to think about BU125 and how to include it in their work this year.

1. Connect Your Work

Be part of the party! Whether it’s a project, event, research initiative, class, or anything — connect it to BU125. Some ideas might be:

• Consider how your project or event aligns with the overall theme of connection, or use the word ‘Connect’.
• Explore the passage of time, comparing our present day to 125 years in the past — or the future.
• Challenge yourself! Can you aim for 125 of something that might otherwise have fewer?

2. Connect Your Message

Weave themes of connection and celebration into your communications and promotions to echo the spirit of the BU125 anniversary. How does this add new context to your work?

• “To celebrate Brandon University’s 125th anniversary, our [event] will connect…”
• “125 years ago, Brandon University was founded, today we’re thrilled to announce…”
• Create fun connections through numbers. Could a price be $18.99? A size 12.5? A list include 125 items?

5. Connect Your Look

Place official BU125 graphics on your digital and printed documents to visually connect your work with the campus and community celebration that’s going on all year long. Please share your work with Communications@BrandonU.ca.
