To ensure training opportunities supporting The Accessibility for Manitobans Act are available to all Manitobans, The Manitoba Accessibility Office has created an online learning portal that features Accessible Employment learning modules.

These learning modules feature key components of the Accessibility Standard for Employment, including an overview of the law, how to create an accessible hiring practice, the steps to maintaining an accessible workplace for all employees and opportunities to broaden your knowledge in this area.

To access this valuable online learning tool, simply click here.  There are 5 modules that will walk you through a better understanding of the Accessibility Standard for Employment.  Once you complete the training, you will receive a certificate of completion.  Email the certificate to hr@brandonu.ca.   It will be retained in your personnel file and recorded as part of your professional development.

Additional learning opportunities will be offered throughout the year on specific aspects of Accessible Employment at Brandon University.
