Academic Advising
Academic Advisors help Arts, Science, Physical Education, Fine Arts, and Environmental Science students explore and pursue their personal academic, educational, and career goals.
Academic advisors are available for in-person, phone, or Zoom appointments.
Note: Students who are in the Faculty of Health Studies, School of Music, or Business Administration should seek advising from their program advisor. Second degree or 2+2 students should seek advising from their Department Chair in the Faculty of Arts or Faculty of Science. Students from these programs will be referred to their program advisor.
Book an Appointment
Current students in Arts, Science, or Physical Education can click on a link below to book an advising appointment. If no appointments are available, please check back the following day. After clicking an advisor’s name, you will be prompted with a Microsoft login. Please use your BU username and password to login and make an appointment.
New Students
Advising for newly admitted students starting in January 2025 is available through the New Student Advising program. After clicking the link below, select your degree program for advising information.
Walk-In Advising
Walk-in advising is available in Student Services (McKenzie 105) on a weekly basis for students in Arts, Science, and Physical Education Studies. Please check below for upcoming dates and hours for walk-in advising:
- Friday, November 15, 22, 29 (10 AM – 12 PM, 1 PM – 3 PM)
